A registered charity, the Arena is a community
recreational and social centre owned, managed and used by the people of the local community.
Over the years the Arena has become many things to
many people from providing a base for after school clubs
to a rehearsal space for the ladies from the Sheffield
Harmony Choir before they perform internationally.
One of our most recent developments is a partnership
with an adult social care provider. The Sapphire Project is
an exciting new service adults aged 18 plus living with a
learning disability.
Based at the Arena Monday - Friday this project empowers people to take greater control in their lives, enabling people to learn new skills, creating an opportunity for shared experiences between people with learning disabilities and the broader public.
