A registered charity Hillsborough Sports Arena is a community sports, recreational and social centre owned, managed and used by local people.  It creates a focal point for the community and provides a facility where individuals, clubs and organisations get the opportunity to recognise their own skills and strengths and to develop and prosper.

Hillsborough Arena the Community Interest Company

The conference facilities at Hillsborough Arena are operated by HASA Enterprises Community Investment Company.   The social aims and objectives of this company are to support Hillsborough Arena Sport Association, a charity which is set up for the benefit of the public generally, in order to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for amateur sports capable of improving physical health and mental well being.
